Star Citizen is a brand new game for PC developed by Roberts Space Industries. I'll speak more abut the gameplay and Star Citizen in total, but I'd like to tell you how did the game development started:Robert Space Industries used a Kickstarter campaign to fund their Star Citizen Project, and with more money they collected, they were adding more and more cool features to this promessing game project;
In this Star Citizen Review, I am going to exploit as many Star Citizen facts as possible. As you may know, Star Citizen is an open world game set in universe. Star Citizen focuses on players, and players can choose to be enterpreteurs, to look for adventures, or to trade so you can rise your material fortune. Singleplayer is very similar to their previous game - Wing Commander, and you can play it both, offline and online, co-op with friends, you sign up for a tour of duty with the UEE fleet, manning the front lines, protecting teritories from Vanduul warbands.
In case you find yourself in combat, you can be invited to be part of "the legendary" 42nd Squadron. Very similar like the French Foreign Legion of old, they are always in the most badass places of action and always pull out victory from certain defeat somehow. What's pretty cool about this game is that your actions apply and impact the whole universe from the moment you acted. You're instantly becoming part of the Star Citizen universe history.
Another cool thing is that no one decides what kind of ship will you have, nor how will it look. You decide all that. You designe and make your own ships!
If you think that you're born to be a "citizen" and to operate only for benefits and protection of the Earth, you're wrong. You can separate from the citizenship and start your own campaign, have your own ways of doing things, interrupt or break someone else's operation, money launder, or do whatever you want. It's not just an open world game, it is open minded game as well.
